Hi Stacey,

If I'm remembering correctly--which may or may not be the case, (Grin)--your
question was whether or not a router can be used simultaneously with wireless
computers and a desktop computer with a built-in Ethernet card. The answer is
yes. I have the exact router Jeff Molzow has, and I would highly recommend it.
It has four ports that can be used to connect a desktop or laptop with an
Ethernet card, and it also supports wireless. I have my desktop connected to
the router via an Ethernet cable, and three other computers, plus my
BrailleNote, can connect to it wirelessly. I don't know if there is a limit to
how many wireless connections a wireless router can have at one time, but I
haven't exceeded it yet.

HTH,

Sarah

Hello Stacey:

I think I paid right around $69 or so plus or minus rebates. As I said in
response to your previous message, you can use a router in a dial-up
configuration, but it is very slow and probably not recommended. If this is
not the question, remind me and I'll try and answer it.
