You can control how many addresses your router can hand out. At least, on my
linksys router, the limit is set at 50. I think it could go quite high.

The answer is yes. I have the exact router Jeff Molzow has, and I would
highly recommend it. It has four ports that can be used to connect a
desktop or laptop with an Ethernet card, and it also supports wireless. I
have my desktop connected to the router via an Ethernet cable, and three
other computers, plus my BrailleNote, can connect to it wirelessly. I don't
know if there is a limit to how many wireless connections a wireless router
can have at one time, but I haven't exceeded it yet.

I think I paid right around $69 or so plus or minus rebates. As I said in
response to your previous message, you can use a router in a dial-up
configuration, but it is very slow and probably not recommended. If this is
not the question, remind me and I'll try and answer it.
