Hi Don, I did see that setting, and it is at 5. I'll try this, although I think there is something wrong here. Also, I noticed an option in Braille Display options for braille mode, automatic by default, I experimented with Reading and Editing, and now the options has disappeared. You might try this. Go into the options menu, braille display options, and in there is a seting called braille display intensity. I think the default is 5 but could be wrong about that. However, the range is from 1 to 9 and you might try it at 9 to see what happens. I never could tell all that much difference, but that just might be enough for you to get the wayward dot to behave. Maybe not a permanent solution, but it might help until someone can come up with a better one, hopefully not having to send it back.
