Hi, all. I haven't seen any suggestions or thoughts on my mPower's "reset loop" as I call it, where it tells me system files need updating and to do a 4 5 6 reset, then tells me they've been updated and to do a regular reset then that they need updating, etc. Fortunately, I haven't needed to do any resetting since this started to happen, so it's only been experimentation since then. The first reset after the three-hour charge worked as it should; this just started happening after I inserted my GPS micro drive while the unit was on and it locked up. I'm just hoping this is something that can be fixed without having to send the unit in, as everything else works perfectly. I don't want to do a service reset unless I get the OK from Humanware, as it sounds like it's not recommended. I can just ignore the reset loop and go ahead and do my thing; but I'm concerned that once I get my upgraded GPS software for the mPower, I might not be able to install it if the reset loop is going on. So I'm just wondering if I'm the only one this has ever happened to or what. <grin>
