Yes, it should solve your problem. Like I said, it does delete all of your appointments, and you would have to recreate them, but you should be fine after this.

First of all, if you have a lot of appointments, you may not
want
to do this.  However, I found that it solved my problems, though
I had to rewrite all of my schedules.

Deleting Planner
  Go to the file manager and navigate to the keyplan folder in
the flash disk.
Erase the file called planner.dbf.
Immediately, without doing anything else first, perform a reset.
The file will come back, newly created by the reset.  Your
appointments should be gone.
