Hi, all. I had a message from Humanware today when I got home from work, saying they're ready for me to send in my BN for the transplant. I have a couple questions about the transplant that I thought I'd throw out for either Humanware or those who have already sent in their units to answer.

Should I send in my BN case? I have the original canvas case that zips shut, and I purchased the newer model case with the velcro. Do I need to send my old unit in one of these cases, or just "naked" in the shipping box? What about the accessory pouch? As I understand it, it'll work with the mPower, so I'm assuming I should keep it, right? I'm assuming I should keep the charger as well, since it will work on the new mPower? How long, more or less, will I be without my BN? Do they give the Braille display a thorough cleaning before transplanting it? My display is beginning to show slight symptoms that it might need cleaning (dots remaining up just a tiny little bit, etc). If I weren't doing the transplant, I would probably send it in for cleaning, so I'm hoping a cleaning is a part of the transplant.

Any questions you guys can answer would be great!

Peggy
