Hi: - You say "jgp", but I guess you really mean "jpg" which is a j-peg file
similar to a tif file, although "jpg" is the most commonly used since it
doesn't eat up as much memory as a "tif" file does.  Unfortunately, both are
image documents, and although a text document can be scanned and saved as a
"jph" file, which a lot of companies nowadays do, the document is totally
unaccessible to the visually impaired since its basically just a image
(graphical) of the text document which can be read by a sighted person.
That is why businesses are being more and more encouraged to produce
documents using "pdf" instead of jpg or tif documents.  All the best. - Kim
