What you do Jean is
if you want not to sync tell the computer no to not set up a partnership.
Now on the computer arrow down to mobile device.
Now press enter and you will hit f. for flash disk. Hit enter on that and it will list your folders. If you want my books hit m a couple of times because the first M. will be manuals. Now that is where you want the book unless its some kind of text but put it in there anyway because you can use the word processor to open it too.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] files and folders

Okay. Voila! This is no doubt old hat for most of you, but I got my BN connected to my PC through the USB cable and actually transferred a text file book onto the BN.

But I got a bit confused initially and I'm not sure if it tried to sinc some files and/or folders before I figured out Active Sinc. I don't want to sinc anything, just transfer files.

So, on the Keysoft drive on the BN, is there a Documents and Settings folder? I see it there now but don't remember seeing it before.

Kind of a dumb question, I know.

Jean
