Hello Roger,

Select the word processor. When your BN prompts for the folder name, press T
with space bar. It will then say directory name and give you the last option.
Should you space at this point, you will get the subdirectories of the one you
were pointing to. Once you find the subdirectory you want, press enter. You
will then be prompted for the file name and when you tap space bar, you should
have the file list. If you need to get back to what most people call the root
directory and that's the same thing as what the BN calls the "none" directory,
press space bar with dots two and three. This takes getting use to but it can
be done.

Hth!

>Subject: [Braillenote] Question

>Hi,

>I have a pc card which works with my mpower. On the Pc card is a folder
>called Dickens. The folder contains subfolders, each of which contains text
>files of book chapters of the author. I can get Mpower to tell me the name of
>the folder, namely, Dickens. But it tells me that there are no files in the
>folder, which is correct because the files are contained in the subfolders.
>But I can't get mpower to read me the titles of the subfolders, let alone
>enter them to extract the text files. I have looked in the manual under File
>management, and can't find a way to do it. If anyone knows, I'd be grateful
>for assistance.

>With thanks
