HI Bob, I absolutely agree with you about the spell checker. It's there to be used, but I respect some people's choice in deciding not to use it. I have seen some interesting typing errors as well when the spell checker hasn't been used. As for transferring keyboards, I decided in the end to go with the Voicenote BT mPower, just for something different. I'm currently using a Voicenote QT and also used an old Keynote with a qwerty keyboard for over 10 years. I'm looking forward to the challenge, as I've not had a lot of experience with note takers featuring a braille keyboard, but I have benefited from this list as I have already picked up a lot of the keystrokes involved, and I've also been offered assistance at any time if I need it. I also created a braille document on the QT and went into the announce-key mode feature and played around with some of the keystrokes. David
