Hi Jess: If it is the Braille display, reformatting your Compact Flash card won't change it. It sounds like it may be in the Braille display. Is your battery gauge accurate? It doesn't remind me of a battery problem. If it were a battery problem, I'd think you'd get a "critical battery" message, or a "low battery" message.
