Hi Kristen and all, Yes, that is right about the flash disk, as things in there are indeed preserved and will survive even if the battery goes flat, or if one has to do a hard reset. However, as with any machine when there is a major crash, although these should be rare, then one would lose their data on the flash disk, thus it is always a good idea to make regular backups of ones work.
I have the BNPK and the flash disk has gotten goofed up a couple of times; and although I can't be sure, I'm guessing it was because I tried to put just a bit too much info on there. But, fortunately for me, I had backups both times, and everything was easily restored.
