On my mower, there is a folder on the Flash disc called My Books. It
was already set up, so that's where I put my books.

No, the reset doesn't destroy any system files. It clears the memory
and essentially reboots the BN. The books file is there as an
example. If you store things on the flash disk or the card, you can
make a directory called books.
