Well the pk should be in California by tomorrow.
Thanks for the suggestion but there was a lot more going on with the machine
such as the Braille Display was utterly frozen and I couldn't write anything
on it so it had to go in anyway.

Subject: [Braillenote] Pk and active sync:
Hi Mary Ellen and list,
I'm sorry I'm quite late with this reply, and someone might have already
commented on that, but:
When you wrote about this "weirdest thing" when connecting your PK to your
laptop, and that the PK stopped announcing "Battery is critical", this
reminded me of something:
In case your laptop is bluetooth compatible, and you had it plugged to the
power, this may mean that bluetooth on both your laptop and PK was active,
and your PK battery charged at the notebook. I think this might work with
the PK, but I'm not 100 % sure. But, I know that the new Brailliant Braille
displays which are also bluetooth capable, charge together with a notebook
if the notebook is connected to power.
So, why not the PK, too?
So, if you haven't sent your PK to Humanware, I would suggest that you just
try keeping your notebook and PK connected for a few hours and your
notebook connected to the power. Then see what comes out of it. If this
should work, then you only would have to send the charger in.
Greetings,
Thomas Rauch
