Ok.. so I got some great answers about how to convert a MW file to a braille
file so that it could be accessed on the BN... but for some reason when I do
so.. the file comes up and it is empty except for format markers... but if I
open the file on the computer all of the text is there. Any suggestions? Or
clues to why this might be happening or what I can do to fix it.. thatnks in
advance for your help.. This list is wonderful!

I just wanted to add to what Jim said about saving or converting your
documents. When you get your document back on the Bn, this is what I'd probably
do:
Open the document you want to save. Press S chord. You'll see "document has not
been modified." Press Backspace twice to get to the "drive" prompt. Press C for
the compact flash drive, and press Enter. Select the folder for the file. At
the "file name" prompt, you will see (computer Braille is required. At this
point, press Backspace with X to select your document type. If you select
KeyWord, you can write the file type in grade two. If you select Ascii, or
other text document types, you'll need to write in computer Braille. Press
Enter. You'll see "open document after saving?" Press Y for yes. You will be
returned to your Email.
