Hello Karen,

Popup windows are only supported in KeySoft 6.2 at this time. Earlier
versions do not support them. It is not that we deliberately block these
windows but rather, it is an issue of not having worked on the user
interface till recently, that is required to support new windows as and when
websites open them.

The only thing I can suggest is that the site has somehow changed recently.
The change may or may not, be visible to the end user but in either case,
could have impacted on how the BrailleNote handles the page in question.

Subject: [Braillenote] troublesome web page

> Hi, everyone,
> I wrote to the list sometime last wekk concerning a troublesome web page,
my daily newspaper. I tried the same page today on my husband's Classic
machine using 6.11 and lo and behold, it worked perfectly. Does the new
mPower have a feature that blocks pop-ups, and if so, can I disable this
feature? This is the only reason I can think of as to why this web page
would work on one machine and not another? I have a hardware problem
concerning my compact flash card slot so I had to send my mPower back to
California for yet a second time since I got it so I can't compare until I
get it back. Any thoughts about this would be appreciated.
