Hi,

Speaking of resetting, yesterday I was balancing mine in my hands while trying to look up something and talk to someone on the phone while standing. I dropped the BN. It then would not start. A reset took care of it. I was starting to have some nightmarish visions of a broken unit and lost files, but everything is fine. Way to go!

Hi Nicole,

I can't address your flash card issue, as it hasn't happened on my unit. I can, however, assure you that you need not worry at all about resetting your BN. There are days when I've reset mine fifteen or twenty times, usually because of something I did that locked it up. So, you can set your mother's mind, as well as your own, at rest, resetting the BN won't hurt it.

HTH,

Sarah

Subject: [Braillenote] two problems

I'm having two slight, but not critical, problems with the BN. First, I
got a PCMIA adapter. I use it a lot, so I leave it in with a card in it.
Every now and then, maybe about every 3 or 4 days, it says card removed and
will not access any card put in anywhere unless I reset. Is there a reason
for this? Also, is it bad to reset too much? My mom freaks out every time
she hears me reset. Also, when I get a file converter error when opening an
attachment, the BN freezes and I have to reset. Is this what's suppose to
happen?

Nicole
