Ok I got the problem solved and can access the book reader and word
processor but I still have not been able to install the gps on it.
I am not going to worry too much about this because the pk should be back
and I am able to read my books which is making me happier than I have been
although I have to say that this 6.11 ismaking a slow machine even slower.

The braille note got back with its 6.1 upgrade and I have not been able to
access any of my documents. I get an error message and have done one of all
3 resets. Does this mean that all the stuff on the hard drive or flash disk
is unusable?
