Does this mean that one could in theory buy a GPS receiver from somewhere else?

Also, what all is required to run GPS on the braillenote?  I know HW sells a
package of everything you need but I think I could do without some of the
things in package but I am not sure.

Appreciate anyone taking the time to explain this to me.  I am eager to use GPS
but the wallet is not quite that deep.
