yes you will need a router for the internet connection. your wireless card
however can be used where there is a public wi-fi network present. eg, star
bucks etc.

There may be a way, but I'm not aware of one at the moment. Most wireless
network devices work with a broadband connection such as dsl or cable
internet. I have a 4-port router at home with wireless access. I have
three computers plugged into it and use the wireless access for my braille
note and my mac mini.

Subject: [Braillenote] wireless Internet?
Hi all,
I'm thinking of getting a wires card but am not sure I understand how it
works. Can i connect to the net with it. I have a dailup account and was
wondering if I use that or do I need a special wireless connection.
