To further clarify matters, the regular braille note bord is limited as to what it is able to do. For people who choose not to upgrade to the mpower with its faster processer, you can remain with the regular braille note and Humanware will upgrade the unit to fullest extent possible with the current bord and processer.

The upgrades not only involve software, there is also a massive change in the hardware, which includes a faster processor and stereo output, among other things. The BN and VN are not currently able to handle the process of multitasking with the media player or streaming audio from the web. This is why we must upgrade to the mPower to get these new features.

Does this mean that 6.11 is the last revision or version for the braillenote family of units? It's otherwise kind of odd that the new product doesn't have a number line of its own. And along these lines is there some reason why the media features of the 6.2 software wouldn't work on the voicenote? that would be a nice upgrade if it was possible.
