Sharon, welcome to the group. I just got my PK a little over a month ago and love it. I have not found it hard to learn at all. I can't compare it to anything else because I haven't used another device other than the old type and speak and braille and speak. I can get several days off one battery charge, but of course, that depends on what I'm doing. If I'm doing e-mail or transferring files, then it's less time. Some on this group said they've had their batteries four to five years and still haven't had to replace them. Monica Lofton professional Email:
