Thanks Susan;
I finally figured out what Rhonda ment. If she had said shift 2 I think I
would have caught on a lot quicker. Talking about two devices at the same
time is like mixing apples and oranges, to me.
Sorry if I come across a little thick headed. It is sure nice to have
friends who are patient and understanding.
This statement goes to Susan, Rhonda, Sarah, Sarai and I am sure many more.

Terry, when you make the "at" sign on a typewriter or a computer
keyboard, you use Shift plus 2. In Braille, it's dot 4. On the
BrailleNote, you have to do Shift dot 4. Or, on a BrailleNote with a BT
keyboard, Space plus U, then dot 4.

Rhonda;
The at sign is dot 4, what do you mean by shift of dot two? I think you
ment dot 4. Terry P

Hi, Terry:

The basic reason for the U-chord is that you cannot do a
shift-lowercase two to have it convert to an "at" sign. You
cannot add the dot six with it, because it would make it a number
eight.
