Pam It is a good idea to always charge any new device when you get it. It may or may not be fully charged. I am not sure about this whole calibration thing either I hear of people doing it all the time I never have and I have had my unit for years and battery life has always been good and to have the readings. I actually have wondered if its being dune when it might not really be needed.

When I first get my mpower, will the battery have a full charge or is there something I need to do before using it? I mean should I go ahead and use it for the charge that is left on it or will I need to put a full charge on it first? I don't want to overcharge it right away or anything. I tell you what; I haven't been this excited about anything for a long time. During this wait to receive my braillenote mpower, I feel like I'm waiting for Santa Clause. My braillenote mpower is currently at Santa's workshop being constructed by little elves at the North Pole. It's great to feel like a kid at Christmas.
