Yes, you can record to a CF card and I have a 5GB PCMCIA card and that's
what we use.  (I think there's enough space to play with <SMILE>)

I find the recording feature particularly useful in grabbing quick
notes, thought snippets and on-the-fly phone numbers for later copying
and editing. I don't plan to record music because approximately five
megs of memory are required for every minute of recording time according
to the manual.
