Oh yes Jim was on the unit all weekend long plus today.
I love to see him happy with it.
Learning more and more as he works the unit or I call it plays with the
unit.

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] My M-power Observations thus far
Listening to Jim's report; that's exactly the same things that were
happening to me. It charged only to acertain percentage until I plugged in
the adapter again, etc. He really must have been using it a lot to charge
it twice since Friday. I did notice that the MPower seems to drain much
faster when in use than the bn classic.
Still, I wouldn't give it up and agree with all of his praises of the unit
including the braille display.
Even email downloaded through the modem is faster than on the classic bn.
And you can download as much as you wish.
I haven't seen the problems that others have with the memo recorder and
microphone volume. I can get mine up to 48 db before it sounds distorted.
I did find out, and have posted before
if you go into the review menu under options and set the speech to five,
you can turn the speech up much louder. What this will also do is to turn
up the playback of the media player so that your memos are much louder.
Just turn your speech off and then use the keys to turn the speech up as
if it were on. The media player will get much louder. You can then turn it
back down again before resuming speech output.
I can hardly wait to see what keysoft seven will promise.
