Hello Arthur, Currently, only KeyNote gold speech is available in the remote synthesizer mode. Extra work would be required to implement Eloquence speech in this mode but it definitely won't be in KeySoft 7.
The presets will be created by you. They are not hard coded. Audio from the radio is muted till a station is found. Longer cable won't always be the answer as there are a number of variables which will influence this but that is a good point to start at if satisfactory reception is not obtained. Very much looking foward to the new release! I have a few questions. 1. Having the choice of eloquence speech raises some very interesting possibilities. Jaws for windows eloquence speech via the bn? Or even... Linux speech via eloquence! Now that's cool. In other words, does the remote synth option maintain Keynote gold compatibility, but with eloquence speech? 2. What type of IF games run on the bn? the release info states that "hundreds of games are available" so what do we need to look out for? 3. How many presets in the fm tuner? 4. When you "scan" the fm band, is it done a similar way to most digital tuners, I.e, the sound is switch off until a station is found? or does it make the typical sound of tuning an analog dial onto the fm station.. hiss, crackle, pop, so that you can get a good sense of the band. Also, dean mentioned that better reception is obtained with certain headphones. Does this mean longer chords, so that more arial length is available? Just a little disapointed that ogg recording/playbakc isn't available butI'm sure that's coming. smile. Well, thanks for any and all help. Tia, Arthur. _______________________________________________ No banners. No pop-ups. No kidding.
