Mary Ellen,
Have you tried a different electrical outlet? I say this since I had some
outlets go dead for no apparent reason in my house some time back. It
turned out I had an outlet with a circuit breaker which would trip if
bumpped or its the kind of outlet if something left on fell in water, the
breaker would trip. When that particular outllet trips, it takes out other
outlets in its path. You might check that closer before boxing up that
PK. Sorry you are having this difficulty!

Sorry, did all of that and no-thing!
There is a big problem because this thing is not seeing the charger and we
have had it plugged in for 4 hours and I am still getting the critical
battery message so it isn't charging. I kind of think its the charger
which is doing this.
Itsnot treally been at 100% since I have had the thing so something is
definitely wrong.

1. Press the 1 and 4 CONTROL keys simultaneously until the "ON" beep
sounds. IF the "OFF" beep is the initial audible cue, however, repeat
the process until the unit switches "ON".
2. Perform a 1-2-3 reset by pressing the 3-4 CONTROL keys and the 1-2-3
keys simultaneously until the start-up buzz sounds. Immediately depress
the CONTROL keys, but don't release the lefthand keys before the opening
cue chimes. HTH
