Unfortunately, when a WEP key is stored on a PC, it is stored in a password
type of format (All stars).  If you have no record of the WEP key and the
tech didn't leave you anything, you may need their help in  reconfiguring
your router to put a new key in.  There is no way to retrieve it from your
PC.  If you have a Linksys router and  know the password to it, I can help
you retrieve the key from there.  Others on this list may be able to help
you with different  makes of routers.

If it will help you find it, the WEP key is usually either a 10 or 26 digit
number made up of the letters a thru f and the numbers 0 thru 9.  I doubt
your ISP or who ever set up your router would have kept a record, but you
might check with them to see if they saved the key for you.   I wish I could
be of more help here
