Leslie,
It means we can:
1. Read the data.
2. Write the data.
It says "read" because you can have data and graphics on the cards!
You can put the data card in your camera. then you can put the data card 
in the card "reader" and you can see whats on the card!
this is true with the card for the PK! You can take files from your PC and 
put it on a card using the card reader.
then you can put the card reader in the PK and you can then read the card 
using the PK!
