evelyn, make sure it's an unprotected file.  Just press B chord T, then go to 
the bottom of where you want it to end, press B chord B, then D.  Of course, if 
you're using a VN, you'd use Ctrl B, then T, Ctrl B then B, then D for 
deletion.  Again, make sure your file is unprotected.
