Peggy, what happens is that essentially HumanWare in the US will build you an mPower using parts that are supplied from New Zealand, plus your Braille display. And it just goes to show, 13 can be lucky eh? Jonathan Mosen BrailleNote Product Marketing Manager HumanWare

I called Humanware today to see where I was on the list, and I'm number 13. The lady who answered said they would probably start the transplants in mid-October, once they got the parts needed to begin the process. I'm unclear what parts that might involve, as we're supplying the Braille display and they're supplying the mPower. But perhaps it's like the BrailleNote when it first came out, and they have to wait for more mPowers to come from New Zealand, I dunno. But that's what I was told this morning.
