Scott:

Win2000 has many gremlins within, never identified, that can cause such provlems. I have no suggestions that a move was afoot, the question should be who?

Subject: [Braillenote] Microsoft .net framework exception when starting KeySinc

Good afternoon!

I have been trying to synchronize my mPower with Outlook 2000. I have
ActiveSync installed and working fine (I can sync files). However, after
installing Key Sync, every time I start KeySync, Microsoft .net framework
throws an unhandled exception. I do get an option to ignore the error and
continue, but if I do this it still does not work. KeySync does start up,
but the BN synchronize process fails to connect saying that the virtual
circuit was reset by the remote side.

I have tried uninstalling KeySync and re installing it making sure I had as
many applications shut down as possible.
I am running Windows 2000.
The error:
The type initializer for "System.Net.IPAddress" through an exception

If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate hearing them. The ability to
sync with Outlook is one of the main reasons my company agreed to purchase
the BN for me.

Have a nice weekend!

Scott
