Hi Sara,
I think that answers my question.  We'll probably be going with dsl so the 
router would have to have the dsl modem conect to it from Stan's computer I 
think.  It'll be a while and that's the router I'm going to get.
Here's anotherquestion, if Stan's computer is turned off and I want to check 
email if I'm wireless can I do this without having to have the pc turned on?
