Hi, I also just purchased a PK recently and asked the same question.
Apparently 6.01 is the latest upgrade for the PK. 6.11 is only for the
classic braillenotes. confusing, isn't it? Humanware will be makeing
different upgrades for the classic (Braillenote QT/BT and Voicenote BT/QT)
and the PK. Am not sure about the M power, if that falls under the classic
line.

thank you all!
somehow it recovered itself...
another question though, aren't the keysoft updates up to 6.11 now? is there
a reason that was not shipped with the unit?
thanks so much!

Hi Julie and list,
While Diane's suggestion will work, the loss of speech is a known bug
in the pk. Simply doing a c3-c4 reset will bring it back as you found
out. I have found this bug to happen much less often with keysoft version
6.01.
