Subject: [Braillenote] zip files

I am going to leave this subject alone for Humanware to do what they
will, but not without expressing some final thoughts. Yes, zip files
would take up a little more space on the site, but given the fact that
two of us have had a problem accessing the .bin files, one would think
that the least that Humanware could do for the sake of good customer
relations if nothing else, would be to at least be receptive to a
compromise. Yes, we can find other people to download patches for us,
zip them and send them to us, but major upgrades are a different story.
It is not asking too much to have zipped files of at least major
releases available. So what about leaving patches as they are and
having two alternatives for major releases.

Those of you who have expressed your "two cents" that it's fine as it
is, I'm sure that's the case for you since you were able to access the
files with no problem. However, I suspect you wouldn't feel the same if
you were in the same boat with Peggy and me. There will likely be
others, since I can't imagine that only two of us will end up
experiencing this. I realize it is not a fault of Humanware, but
whether it's with the internet providers, microsoft, or whatever the
case may be, we have a problem with the files. I hope that you will see
fit to remedy the situation.

Pam
