Hello Steve,

The only way to really do this would be to find out the exact model of your card and do a search in Google or one of the search engines for the specifications of your card.

Hi, is there any way I can find out what voltage my card uses without trying and erroring?

Cheers, Steve

Hello Steve,

It could be that your microdrive won't work due to the fact that the mPower
does not support 5 volt cards. Most of the older PCMCIA cards require 5
volts but the newer cards and drives only require 3.3.

Subject: [Braillenote] mpower question

Jonathan, when I get my mpower, will I simply be able to reinstall what's
on my backup file on my microdrive, or will there be complications and
things I need to consider - I'm reluctant to send in my microdrive for fear
of it being misplaced and lost. I look forward to your comments.

Cheers, Steve
