Hello Tiffany,
We are aware that this is necessary for some drives. I will investigate
further and see whether this is consistent with the experience of other
users who use this drive. If some are experiencing this and some aren't,
we'll need to look at any variations in either the drives or the model of
BrailleNote being used.

Hey Dean,
I have a question for you. You say that Toshiba microdrives will work
with the M-Power. Well, my friedn has 2 Toshiba 5GB microdrives and each
time he puts them into the PCMCIA slot it locks up on him. He can do a
reset and then it will recognize the card, but why is it locking up his
unit? Thank for any advice you can give on this matter.

Hello Peggy,
Most cards will work. If it is of any help, I can tell you that the
Toshiba
5 gb micro drives will work on the mPower. Most cards will work and this
will apply to primarily older cards.

Yikes! What's this? I just sent my BN in today, and now I might not
be able to use my cards in it when I get it back, including the Micro
drive I got from Sendero with all my GPS maps and pois on it? Am I
misunderstanding something here, or what?
