You shouldn't need to do a reset unless you move the card to a different slot. I use mine in the PCMCIA slot in an adapter. If I were to move the card to the flash slot without the adapter, I would have to do one reset with the card in. If you remove the card, you don't have to do another reset.

Rhonda,
Am I going to need to do a reset after I remove the card? And, will I need to do this reset process every time I use the ambicom cf card?

Theresa, put your wireless card in. Do a reset. From the Main Menu, press O, C then W. You'll see, "wireless ethernet card on?" Press Y and press Enter. Space down to: "scan for wireless connection? Press Enter. If you are asked for Connection name, I just wrote in Wireless. Press Enter. It may take some time, but it will scan, and should give you a connection. I just got mine this afternoon, and that's how I did it. It also depends on whether or not you are sharing with another device.
Kind regards.

Subject: [Braillenote] ambicom cf card installation

Hello List,
I am attempting to install the software for my ambicom cf card, which Humanware mailed me. Unfortunately, there are no braille instructions for this. . Is my BN noticed as a ce computer? I have read the instructions, but I was wondering if anyone had any words of wisdom for me before I start the installation process.
