When they say 9 in 1 14 in 1 etc., they are talking about the different kinds of Compact flash cards that the card reader will read. Digital cameras use a different type of flash card than the Braille Notes, for one example. You can get a compact flash reader that only reads type 1 cards like those in the braille note. Or you can get one that reads lots of different kinds of flash cards. If you have a Frys Electronics near you, they had one on sale that was 13 in 1 for $10.00 this last week. Otherwise, any electronics store like Circuit City, Comp USA, Best Buy, etc., should have a flash reader for $20.00 or less that will do what you need. You just plug it into your usb port and your computer will see it as a drive. You can then copy the file to the flash card using Windows Explorer, take the card out of the reader and put it in the Braille Note and then do the installation as directed by the readme file.

Enjoy,
Richard

Kathy 7,

Yes, it is same what Isaac explained me about the Card Reader. I surfed
on the internet but I can not decide because there were so many. I also
not understand why they say 8 in 1, 14in one, etc. I will surf them once
again when I have time.

I wonder if I am correct. USB Card Reader can connect to many different
ports? USB on one side and on other side connect to various adapters to
fit any ports? I think I saw there is 19-in-1 USB Card Reader/Writer.
