Defrag is a windows term meaning to defragment your files. You see, what
happens is that files get used by windows, then windows put them back on
the hard drive, but not in the right place. so files get defragmented or
broken up in to pieces. then they get scattered and they slow down the
operation of your machine. so Windows has a program called defrag.exe
which cleans up the hard drive and puts files back together.
I said I believed the free disk space does the same thing.
