Thanks. Hey, I knew the learning curve was going too well. It was time
I messed something up. Smile.

Jean, many times it falls into the General Folder on the Flash disk.
What I'd do is go to the Main Menu, press F for file, D for directory,
and go into the General Folder of the Flash disk. When you see the
"list of files" prompt, press Space with X. That will show you all
files, even hidden ones. You may have to do this to several folders
to find it.

Subject: [Braillenote] file types
My first attempt at transferring a file into BrailleNote was an RTF
format file. I thought the BN would recognize RTF? But when I tried
to
find it in the directory where I thought I put it, I couldn't find it.
Is there any way to search for files that you have accidentally put
somewhere? I don't think I did, as I hadn't quite figured out the
navigation, but just thought I'd ask.
Also, my first attempt at selecting files from the PC resulted in
Active
Since automatically doing the conversion of a Word format to the
Pocket
Word format. I had forgotten to first uncheck that under Tools and
Options. So, even though it told me that the files had been
converted,
how do I know for sure they didn't end up on the BN somewhere?
