Jean,
You can't search directly. In other words you can't just go to a
directory
and do a dir like you can with Microsoft windows. You have to want to
do
something else. for instance I have a cf card with a none directory
and
when I want to get a listing I tell the BN I want to read. then it
lets me
see all the files. tricky little beast, huh?

Is there any way to search for files that you have accidentally put
somewhere?
I don't think I did, as I hadn't quite figured out the navigation,
but just
thought I'd ask.
Also, my first attempt at selecting files from the PC resulted in
Active Since
automatically doing the conversion of a Word format to the Pocket
Word format.
I had forgotten to first uncheck that under Tools and Options. So,
even
though it told me that the files had been converted, how do I know
for sure
they didn't end up on the BN somewhere?
