This is only somewhat BN related, but I do this all the time: I wear a regular pair of over-ear headphones, but tuck one earpiece behind my ear. They still stay on my head nicely, I can hear everything I want to, and it's a cheap and standard method. I listen this way while reading with my BN a lot, and I am doing it right now as I write this message.

I like this kind because I can hear what I am listening to and still be aware of what is going on around me. I have a mild hearing problem and if I cover both ears, someone can start talking to me and I would not know it. The kind I use for my phone and computer combined are great in solving this problem, but they have a mike and have controls for when you are using just the computer and when you are using both items. If I could find some, I could listen to the radio, at lunch and also be able to hear what is going on around me. Thanks. They work fine with the mPower. You have to crank the volume way up to get an acceptable audio level through them. I find that the BN works best with bud headphones, like the ones included, or the ones that came with by Creative Labs Muvo MP3 player.
