Thankyou Karen and Don, I do recall your posts from a while back. It's odd that the m-power worked fine with dial-up yesterday, and then for no particular reason has a stubborn streak today. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll continue deleting the connection configuration and account info., and re-entering the fields and let you know what happens. Right - It's sometimes helpful to be big and bossy. We are quite far away from where wireless connections can be found this week. Thanks to both of you. David
