Hi Leslie, Whether the communication between the BrailleNote and the PC is via cable or Bluetooth, it is digital in both cases.
The reason a serial connection is only available in Braille terminal mode, is that we haven't made the necessary changes in order to establish a Bluetooth connection for this purpose.
