I think the BN family of products clipboard is even better than the one in the Braille Lite. If one were to delete files or do any number of things in the Braille Lite, that would affect the clipboard in that unit. The BN clipboard stays put no matter what one does in the unit unless something else is pasted in the clipboard itself or information is deleted from the clipboard. It is the best I have seen!

The clipboard in the bn family of products and the old Braille Lites for that matter, is a darned sight better than the one Microsoft has for Windows. At least FS has a way you can add things to the clipboard in Jaws 7 which is somewhere in this living room.

Subject: [Braillenote] Amending yesterday's observations

Hello all,

I need to amend a few of my observations concerning my educational afternoon with blackmask.com. I thought originally that I had to "click on a link" to bring up a given chapter of a book on that site. I discovered this morning I didn't have to do so. I just "click" on the read in HTML link and the book is right there. No wonder the unit was locking up when I tried to click on a specific chapter (grin smile)! I downloaded two larger files which Bob Mates recommended I try to download since he was having problems with those particular files. The M-power handled the job beautifully! I may become further acquainted with the site in the future. I thought maybe I should download the zipped file on my PC and deal with it accordingly but I was able to have the book in a readable form more quickly when I simply used my M-power by itself, didn't need to use the PC at all.

Sarah, thanks for telling me where the clipboard is. It will shrink from when a book is pasted in it should one type a short sentence and copy to clipboard. When I checked the clipboard this morning, my short sentence was there but the book was nowhere to be found. The BN family of products sure has a nifty clipboard system in it especially with the M-power. It is nice though to actually go into it and delete anything out if one wishes to do so.

Thanks for being patient with my ignorance.
