I meant that accessing a disk drive and learning to translate files as apprpriate would be a valuable tool that could (to some degree) be generalized to the use of a jump/thumb drive. Kimberly, Make sure your translating the file to a Microsoft word file before saving it to a disk. This process can be done via the translation menu in the file manager, or through keyword with space with s then saving the file as a different file type. You have me lost when you say: "This will be a very useful tool... and can be transferred to the jump drive when we get the new BN." The disk drive cannot be used with the M Powers, you'll have to buy a USB floppy disk drive. There is a difference between the disk drive and a jump drive. A disk drive allows you to transfer files from the BN or PC, to a floppy disk, then back to the BN/PC. What we have not been able to do is start a file on the BN save it to disk and then open it in Mircosoft Word.
