That question was actually answered by HumanWare however you might not have seen it. The reason is a limit in the design at the manufacturing level.

I want a one gig but, I want my upgrade. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joseph Lee Sent: Wednesday, January 18, 2006 12:26 AM To: Braillenote List Subject: RE: [Braillenote] CF Cards This is Joseph. I would recommend CF cards between 128 MB and 2 GB. 64 MB cards can be used, although it is quite rare. Cards above 4 GB can be used, but it wastes valuable space. Technical note: CF cards up to 2 GB are formatted with FAT file system. Cards above 2 GB are formatted with FAT32. Because of this, a FAT32 formatted card may show incorrect value for the total capacity (there is usually a difference of 4096 characters.). I hope this information may help you. --- kathleen spear <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello Sarah, Joseph and List, > Doesn't Ray also need to know what size CF card to buy? > >From my experience, you don't want anything less > than one that is 256 MB.
