I use it mostly to sync my address and planner and it saved me last
September when all my planner and address info was lost off my computer.  If
I am already hooked up I transfer files that way too but if not I use the
card reader on my computer.

Well, if he is like me, I don't "move" anything to or from the computer. You
put the card sd or cf in the braillenote use the files then take the card
out and put it in the computer or card reader.  You don't have to move
anything you simply use the file.
